Hang obtained his Physics Ph.D. from University of Michigan and Physics B.S. from Peking University. Hang's current research focuses on novel energy materials (thermoelectrics and topological semimetals) via crystal growth (high quality bulk single/poly-crystals and/or MBE thin films), ab initio simulations, and transport measurements.

Lynn Endicott is a graduate student in the University of Michigan Physics department. He holds bachelor’s degrees in both German and Physics from the University of Arkansas and spent a year in Stuttgart, Germany, teaching English on a Fulbright teaching assistantship. Since coming to the University of Michigan, he has focused on the physics of MBE-grown films, specifically novel magnetic devices in V-VI diluted magnetic semiconductors doped with transition metals. Other interests include alternative energy sources and increasing science literacy.

Si Hui is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He graduated from Department of Physics at Peking University in 2010.

Si's current research focuses on the Sn-doped CoSb3 Skutterudite.
